During Gdańsk Cocktail Week, we’re bringing the bar community together for a professional industry day focused on learning, exchanging experience and building better ways of working. We welcome bar owners, managers, bartenders, hospitality professionals and cocktail lovers who want a closer look at the industry.
Conference
The programme will feature guest speakers, practical case studies and honest conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing the industry today. We are still shaping the programme; speakers and the detailed schedule will be announced gradually closer to the event.
Bar Hackathon
The bar hackathon is a time-boxed, collaborative workshop where participants turn real industry needs into practical ideas and solutions.
This is not a cocktail competition and it does not test bartending technique.
The goal is to design a tool, service or project that could make bar work simpler, more effective or more engaging for teams and guests.
Your idea can take almost any form, for example:

How the hackathon works
At the start, participants will be randomly assigned to teams. Each team will work with an invited expert who will help scope the idea, test its feasibility and prepare the final pitch. At the end of the session, teams will present their concepts to the jury. The winning team will receive a cash prize, shared among all of its members.
Hackathon registration is open only to people who work at venues participating in Gdańsk Cocktail Week. In the form, select the venue where you work; eligibility is based on this declaration.
